The contrast between this endless promenade with its high rise apartment Blocks,
dozens of bars and restaurants, together with the themed, pay to enter, beach areas,
could not be more different from the beach experience on the rugged
Atlantic Coast of Devon and Cornwall.
Each to his own.
And now it has to stand there all alone and wait for the next Summer.
