The weekend was very wet and windy ...

 ... as a succession of low pressure areas swept in from the Atlantic bringing high winds and some torrential rain showers.

We have left England, having crossed the Tamar Road Bridge at Saltash, and are in Cornwall looking across the River Lynher,  very near its mouth where it flows into the River Tamar. A good spot from which to see the approaching weather.
