A few days ago

 I posted some images of houses on the shoreline.

But I came across these buildings, nearing completion, which have "waded" out into the river and are stood up to their "knees" when the tide comes in.

If the climate scientists are correct, river levels will rise and the high tide level may move from "knee" to "neck" in the not too distant future.
