Yesterday, when I hoped for rain, I had in mind a gentle shower or two to green the grass and perk up the flowers.
But we got torrential rain and a howling gale.
I spotted this solitary figure battling against the wind and rain, as she crossed the Promenade on Plymouth Hoe.
More or less the same here in Yorkshire but without the gale. Nicely done, the coloured brolly is a great contrast. Paul at Leeds daily photo
