These lovely trees are in the extensive grounds of Saltram House, a very popular National Trust property on the bank of the River Plym. The Saltram Estate is well within the city boundaries, as it totally surrounded by large, populous residential areas, but once through its gates you escape all the noise and bustle of a modern city.
