Potholes

After more than a month of torrential rain, gale force winds and repeated flooding,

the local road network is getting worse by the day.

There have even been rumours that the potholes have been there so long and are so deep

 that strange life forms have evolved and small creatures have been seen 

climbing out of the water and struggling up the steep sides
