The Lifeboat OSIER. 17 - 34

On Thursday morning this beautiful 17 metre long, Severn Class Lifeboat,

part of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution fleet, 

gently sailed through the Cattewater into Plymouth Sound and across to the 

Plymouth RNLI Lifeboat Station in Millbay Dock.

This leisurely cruise was in complete contrast to their more usual "excursions" 

through Plymouth Sound, when they are on a "shout".
