A blot on the landscape

This hotel suddenly closed its doors in January 2014, when at breakfast,
 guests were told to vacate their rooms by 11am,  and new arrivals  that afternoon
found the premises locked and empty when they turned up to check in.

Since then the vandals have run riot.
