Fetch!

Man throws ball into the sea and shouts "Fetch!".

Dog wades a few paces out towards it but stops.

Man shouts more instructions and pretends to throw more balls.

Dog  follows his every move but clearly feels the sea is too cold today 

and refuses to go out any deeper.

 The "stand off" lasts for 10 minutes or so before the man admits defeat.

Man and dog leave the beach.

Two minutes later the ball is picked by the wash of a passing boat, 

and is deposited back on the beach.
