Two early morning swimmers in Plymouth Sound


Look very closely and you'll see their wake and their two red "visibility" buoys.
Whilst the scene looks sunny and warm it was bitterly cold at this early hour.
The air temperature was only 4°C and the wind chill factor made it feel like 0°C.
But the good news is that the sea temperature is 10°C, so clearly they had made the right choice.
