Hobbits gather at this "throne", 

deep in West Hoe Park.

Danger! Men at work.

Following a rock fall this winter, in the popular children's playing park at West Hoe,

 this team are carrying out the essential remedial work to make the cliff face safe.

This expert  team are working almost immediately below the spot where I am standing,

 at the top of the rock face, looking down into the park.

Wonderful weather to round off the Easter Weekend.

This play area is almost never totally empty.

Another Battleground?

The disused tennis court, where the 3 cars are parked, is attracting much interest from potential developers, but there are fears that the extremely popular childrens' area will be swept away if a developer is allowed to acquire an area larger than the tennis court.

There will be very little view of the park through this lot.
