The weather was perfect at lunchtime on Friday for a drink on the terrace of the Berkley Bar. Right in the centre of the city, the Berkley is a great venue to round off the working week and plan for the weekend. But this being south west England, Saturday dawned cold and cloudy with the threat of rain, so any barbecue plans had to be put on hold.
