Grand re-opening delayed.

The Tinside Lido could not reopen as planned for the long weekend holiday.

The shoreline of Plymouth Sound was covered in an unsightly algae bloom. 

Since the swimming pool is filled with seawater from the Sound, the City Council took the advice of government Health and Environment departments and have postponed the re-opening 

until they get the 'All Clear', from them.
