On Saturday we had a truly splendid lunch in Rick Stein's Seafood Restaurant, on the quayside, in Padstow.

An attractive, airy and relaxed dining room, 

genuinely welcoming and professional front of house staff, 

with a superb meal from the kitchen brigade.
