HMS Echo entering Plymouth Sound

HMS Echo, one of the Navy's multi role, hydro-graphic survey ships,  

crossing Plymouth Sound on a beautiful spring day, 

on her way up the River Tamar to her berth in Devonport Naval Base.

She passes between Drake's Island and the Tinside Lido 

which is being 'spring cleaned', ready for summer opening.
