Welcome to Lycra Land

Yesterday was a perfect winter day for cycling.

The sun was shining, a crystal clear sky, not a breath of wind 

and pleasantly warm for the time of year.

                                   A "bike friendly", quayside coffee stop on the Barbican,

beneath the iconic Tour de France jersey colours of the polka dots of 'King of the mountains',  

and the yellow of the Race Leader.
