The Royal William Yard, the former Victualling HQ for the Royal Navy, on the Plymouth Waterfront is undergoing a massive, decade long, redevelopment of its enormous Victorian buildings to provide
luxury apartments, restaurants, bistros, boutiques, a hotel, a cinema etc, together with a cultural cluster that aims to provide affordable studio space together with exhibition/gallery space for local artists and crafts people.
Ocean Studios
30 or so studios/work spaces have been created above a large gallery complete with Coffee Shop,and as you can see, from the right hand side of the image, work has begun on preparing the exterior ready for its facelift.
