Ripe for Redevelopment

Completed in 1962, this 14 storey building in the city centre, was the home of the Plymouth City Council. It was finally vacated 2015 and has remained largely empty since then. However a multi-million pound redevelopment is due to be started this year.

The proposed plan is for the building to house an 'international conference centre', in conjunction with Plymouth University,  a range of offices, together with 144 apartments for rents not sale, and a collection of restaurants, bars, and food outlets, etc.
