The Fair and the Christmas Market have arrived,

but both appear to be on a very much smaller scale than in previous years.

A sign of difficult times ahead?

Good weather for ducks,

 

but dreadful for Christmas shoppers.

 

  

Not many of these beautiful creatures found new homes today

because the drenching rain kept most potential customers at home. 

Probably the best smelling 'train' in the world.

Many old favourites have returned to Plymouth's Christmas market again this year.

May you have a very

fragrant Christmas.

The first snowfall of winter.

The small area in the city centre which is home to the Christmas Market, the Skating Rink 

and Santa's Grotto, awoke to find that there had been a light snow fall during the night.

Strange that the snow should be confined to such a small, well defined area area, 

and stranger still that the temperature is well above freezing.

Maybe Santa had something to do with it.

This will keep the dentists busy after Christmas

The Christmas Market has something for every taste

except vegetarians!
