Mount Edgecombe Country Park

Mount Edgecombe Country Park covers 865 acres of wonderful parkland, formal gardens and multi use trails on the Rame peninsula in South East Cornwall.

It is an inspirational place in every season of the year, with great views across Plymouth Sound to the city and beyond, towards the high ground of Dartmoor. Two days ago I strolled through the lower reaches of the Park, at Cremyll, enjoying the beautiful warm, spring day.

Looking back up the River Tamar towards the Tamar Bridges, with the Naval Dockyard lining the Plymouth bank.

Looking across The Sound, with Drake's Island in the foreground.
