A Film Star comes to town.

This weekend the Tall Ship "Phoenix" sailed into Sutton Harbour

to make a fitting centre piece for the annual "Pirate Weekend".

Her story and list of film and television credits can be seen below.

 "Pirate Weekend", as always, drew a very large crowd of children and their parents to the Barbican, 

where they enjoyed what the organisers promised would be,

"A swash-buckling weekend with re-enactment displays, stilt walkers, sword fighting,   

with face painting, a treasure trail and a best dressed pirate competition for under 16's."
