After a very damp start, yesterday turned out to be a lovely sunny, winter day.

But this brave soul didn't have any companions for his mid morning dip 

at the aptly named Devil's Point, in Stonehouse .

It was, however, the perfect morning for a long walk along Plymouth waterfront.

The intrepid swimmer entered the sea from the beach near the left hand edge of the photo below.
