The Train and The River

This train is crossing the River Tamar, from Plymouth into Cornwall

Who would ever have thought that such an everyday occurrence, as a train crossing a river,

would be celebrated in such an iconic opening title sequence as this,
in the classic film,

a wonderful record of  the legendary
1958 Newport Jazz Festival
