The Barbican Fish Quay

The 'New' Fish Market Quay is always interesting, whether boats are landing their catch or getting ready to sail.

But, unlike the 'Old' quay which was located across the harbour, the public cannot wander around among the moving cranes, fork lifts and lorries, for obvious health and safety reasons.

The closest you can get to the action is this wonderful Fisherman's Snack Shack, just inside the fence.

But you can still watch all the comings and goings from the opposite quay.
